Dan is a graduate of Emory University (B.A., 2004). Throughout his undergraduate career, Dan worked with a variety of organizations serving youth -- from helping run an after school program at an Atlanta elementary school to interning with the Alliance for Children and Families’ public policy team in Washington, DC. Impressed with College Summit’s innovative approach to addressing a critical social issue, Dan jumped at the chance to begin his career in the non-profit sector with the organization. Dan joined the development team in July 2004 and now works with College Summit’s regional teams to develop school district and college partnerships.
Upon graduation from the College of William and Mary (B.A. 2002) with a double major in Psychology and Economics, Brendan joined AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps. During his two years of service, he provided a variety of assistance to different locations including environmental work in Hawaii and disaster relief in Florida. He served as the first Camp Director for Camp Friends, a summer camp in Oakton, VA, before joining College Summit full-time in October 2005.
