  • Thomas Peng Sr. Systems Analyst

    Thomas is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Computer Science Engineering and a minor in Asian American Studies. After college, he had several IT roles including a position as software engineer and team lead in Silicon Valley. Looking for more opportunities to serve, Thomas spent two years in the Philippines as a Peace Corps volunteer. As a volunteer he worked in a high school as an IT Trainer, Systems Developer, and Volleyball Coach. Thomas joined College Summit in the winter of 2007.

  • Justin Prister Sr. Financial Coordinator

    A graduate of Wayne State University, Justin came to College Summit in 2008 with a background in accounting and finance. Prior to joining College Summit, Justin worked as an auditor for a DC-based CPA firm specializing in the non-profit industry. He most recently had experience relating to financial reporting functions, as he served as an associate in the SEC reporting group for a Fortune 500 company. He was drawn to College Summit because he supports the organization's "mission", and believes that all students should be provided with the opportunity, resources, and tools to pursue a college education. Justin is excited about being apart of College Summit due to the passion and commitment of the employees, the pervasive entrepreneurial spirit that is part of College Summit's culture and also because it means he is part of an organization advocating social change through education.

  • Rachel Ramos Program Management Coordinator

    A graduate of the University of Notre Dame (B.A., 2005), Rachel benefited from several programs during high school designed to promote higher education opportunities for minorities and women. In college, she committed to work in the field of education and educational equality, focusing on work with Latino students in Chicago, South Bend (IN) and Houston, as well as in her hometown of San Antonio. College Summit was a natural transition for Rachel upon graduation. Rachel began at College Summit as a Site Associate for the National Capital Region, and moved to the national Program Management team in October 2006.

  • Jessica Robinson Director of Human Assets

    A graduate of the University of Chicago (B.A., 2000). Through her participation in a civic education and leadership program in high school, Jessica received her first introduction to a comprehensive look at social problems, combining classroom study and analysis with a hands-on internship with a community organization. In college, she became interested in working with issues of education access, and her volunteer experiences in the admissions office impressed upon her the importance of looking beyond a student's numbers to see all the potential beneath the surface. After experiencing the magic of College Summit workshops as an intern in 2001, Jessica joined the organization full-time. She also graduated from the University of Chicago (B.A., 2000).
