Today, the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) announced its selection of the 2010 intermediary organization recipients of the Social Innovation Fund (SIF), which included New Profit Inc. and Venture Philanthropy Partners (VPP). College Summit was honored to be preselected for funding in both applications, and look forward to this exciting opportunity with two organizations that have been major supporters of our work.
Today’s announcement is a milestone representing the fulfillment of a vision to social innovation and to the role of government as a catalyst nearly three years in the making, and we applaud the Corporation for its leadership in making the ideas of this initiative a reality.
