Available Positions

College Summit is growing quickly, and we often have many positions open at once, in a variety of locations.  Because many positions require a certain amount of post-college work experience, they are organized that way, and we recommend you apply only for those positions that best match your skills and experience.  The location of each position is clearly noted next to each job title.

  • Entry-level Positions are generally filled by recent college graduates, who have two years of experience or less.  This is a great way to start at College Summit; the titles typically use the word Associate.
  • Mid-level Positions hold a higher level of responsibility, and those team members typically possess a minimum of 2-5 years of formal, post-college work experience.  Coordinator, Senior Coordinator and Specialist are the terms we use to refer to these positions.
  • Senior-level Positions are divided into two levels.  Managers and Directors lead a department or specific area, and will generally have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience with progressive increases in responsibility.   Executives lead a regional office or sector of the national headquarters, and possess a minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • Internships are seasonal positions, typically for current college students.
  • Summer Employment opportunities are for college and career professionals.  Working to help kids get into college is not only a great way to spend 4 to 6 weeks of your summer, but also a great way to experience College Summit.

All posted positions are available immediately, unless otherwise noted.

For those interested in joining the team in one of our Regional Offices, please note that we give preference to candidates who have a strong connection to and knowledge of that particular region and community.

If you do not see a job listed on our web site that fits your interests or level of experience, please check back often!  You are also welcome to apply for a summer volunteer position with College Summit, which is how many people get a taste of what the organization is like before joining full-time. Visit our Volunteer pages to find out more.

The Volunteer Experience

College Summit is seeking exceptionally motivated volunteers for a number of positions to help lead summer workshops. In addition to the benefits the students receive, volunteers leave workshops exhausted but refreshed, having seen the potential of the next generation of leaders. Volunteering at a workshop is a great way to get to know College Summit; in fact, many current employees started out as volunteers.
