College Summit Values

College Summit’s Values are derived from the same standards that we ask our students to hold themselves to, and are incorporated into the way we work each day.  All staff are evaluated against both their job responsibilities and the organization's Values, and we give out several awards annually to staff and Alumni who strongly exhibit a specific Value.

Passionate Pursuit of Student Results

Our over-riding purpose is to deliver measurable, cost-effective results that make our vision a reality.  We each apply our skills, networks, and resourcefulness to build the alliances and develop the smooth processes that enable College Summit magic to happen.  This North Star orients our hard work, drives our accountability, and inspires us to overcome the obstacles in our way.

Tapping the Power Within

Every member of the College Summit community has power.  With our tools, students tap into their power, clear the transition to college and unlock life-changing college opportunities.  Our school and community partners draw on their own assets to support, and benefit from, the students' higher education success.  We, the College Summit team, unlock that potential only when we individually tap our own power and help our teammates tap theirs.

Constant Improvement

We are hungry to learn, so that we may make our services ever more effective and valuable, and so that we may grow as individuals.  In our daily work, we assess our strengths and development areas, and seek to give constructive feedback to our colleagues in a timely manner.

Team Players

We win as a team, work hard together, and depend on one another, playing very different roles in a well-coordinated way.  We expect that all staff, regardless of position, chip in where needed and with grace.

Celebration

When the light bulb turns on and a young person uncovers a true, personal strength, you can't help but celebrate.  We strive to spark that kind of celebration with our teammates, school partners, and community allies.

Volunteer Now
Princeton Review

College Summit has been honored by the Princeton Review in their 2007 Best Entry-Level Jobs guide.

The Volunteer Experience

College Summit is seeking exceptionally motivated volunteers for a number of positions to help lead summer workshops. In addition to the benefits the students receive, volunteers leave workshops exhausted but refreshed, having seen the potential of the next generation of leaders. Volunteering at a workshop is a great way to get to know College Summit; in fact, many current employees started out as volunteers.
