Organizational Structure

College Summit has the advantage of offering a wide variety of work environments for those interested in joining our team.  The structure and type of work in our Sites is distinct from what you will find in our National Headquarters.

Working in a College Summit Regional Office

College Summit’s work with school districts and students occurs on the ground in several locations – Northern California, Southern California, Colorado, Missouri, West Virginia, South Carolina, Florida, Connecticut, the National Capital Region, and New York City.  Our regional offices each have a similar structure, with the number of staff varying with the number of students we reach in that region.  The small office size and structure are designed to create a dynamic environment where operating effectively as a team is absolutely critical to success.

Working in College Summit’s National Headquarters

Within College Summit’s National Headquarters (which is distinct from our Site serving communities in the National Capital Region), the team is responsible for providing tools and systems to support the work of our school partners, from designing and testing curriculum to building the infrastructure that will support the organization for years to come.

While College Summit is growing, we strive to maintain open communication and feedback between our teams in the field and the national headquarters in order to provide continuous improvements to the tools and systems used by school districts, and strong support so our Sites can focus on the success of our school partners and their students.

Princeton Review

College Summit has been honored by the Princeton Review in their 2007 Best Entry-Level Jobs guide.

The Volunteer Experience

College Summit is seeking exceptionally motivated volunteers for a number of positions to help lead summer workshops. In addition to the benefits the students receive, volunteers leave workshops exhausted but refreshed, having seen the potential of the next generation of leaders. Volunteering at a workshop is a great way to get to know College Summit; in fact, many current employees started out as volunteers.
