Why Colleges Partner

Colleges partner with College Summit to join a growing network of institutions committed to strengthening college access on their campuses, in their communities and across the country.

Through College Summit, colleges contribute to a college transition solution that strengthens our partner high schools from within, so that all students who can make it in college, make it to college.

As more high schools and school districts strengthen their ability to support all students in pursuing higher education, colleges and universities will benefit from a larger, more diverse candidate pool.

Promoting our College Partners

College Summit makes sure its College Partners are on the minds of its students and educators!

  • Professional college counselors work with each workshop student to match them to College Partners that are the best fits for the student's profile.
  • College Partners have the opportunity to lead a session at the Summer Workshops to provide participating students with more information about your institution.
  • College Summit markets its College Partners in every College Summit classroom across the country.
  • College Partners are included in College Summit’s Partner College Guide, so students, educators and volunteers can easily access more information about your institution.
College Summit Yields Results

In the past 10 years, over 35,000 students have benefited from College Summit.

79% of the high potential, influential students who have participated in our Summer Workshops have enrolled in college, well over the national average for low-income students of 46%.
