What to Expect

College Summit’s staff is a group of dedicated, passionate, entrepreneurial people from all backgrounds and levels of experience. We strive to build a team that reflects the diversity of the students who benefit from our tools and services, which ensures a wide range of perspectives at the table. Our culture is a blend of the best aspects of the non-profit and business sectors: dynamic, innovative, hard-working people committed to creating lasting social change – and to producing results and transformed systems with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Along with that juxtaposition of sectors comes a unique culture and work environment. College Summit is an organization that takes goals and metrics seriously, and sets high expectations for what the team can accomplish. We place a high value on feedback, and all employees participate in a trimester dialogue and performance review process to assess their accomplishments to date, and their growth areas for the future.

And to facilitate connections between staff in all regions, College Summit holds an annual retreat for the whole organization, where we not only have a chance to socialize and make stronger connections with one another, but also to learn best practices for focusing our efforts and delivering on our goals.
