Every year, thousands of high school graduates from low-income communities who could succeed in college DO NOT ENROLLCollege Summit Indiana needs your help to address this issue!

Each summer, College Summit  holds intensive 4-day workshops (Thursday through Sunday) for talented rising high school seniors across the country. Hundreds of volunteers guide these students through the college application process.

When and Where:

  • July 11 - 14, 2013: Indiana State University
  • July 11 - 14, 2013: Franklin College
  • July 18 - 21, 2013: University of Indianapolis

Writing Coach                  

The Writing Coach works with a group of 4 – 6 students to craft a personal statement that becomes the centerpiece of each participant's college and scholarship applications.  

College Coach

Through one-on-one meetings with each student, College Coaches help students define a manageable path to college and create a list of colleges/universities that meet their needs.

Role Snapshot

- You will spend four days and three nights on a college campus Thursday afternoon through Sunday afternoon

- You will have your own dorm room

- Meals are provided

- You will receive on-site training for the Writing Coach and College coach volunteer roles

- Empower high school seniors to reach their true potential
