The 2009 Deloitte Award was presented to Global Leadership Academy for demonstrating improved college-going culture.

According to Allison Hoffman, the school’s Post Secondary Coach, “This event was glorious proof that college-going culture was happening at GLA! Their College Summit class prepared them for the task ahead. A large chart was used to track student success and they personally checked off a box next to their name after each application was submitted. Cheers followed, an incredibly supportive, atmosphere was created, and 100% of seniors successfully applied to 3 (or more) colleges!”
