Southern California Receives Two Major Gifts Despite the fact that many foundations and businesses are cutting back on giving, Southern California received major grants this summer from two of our donor partners.

Darden Restaurants, Inc - owner of Olive Garden, Red Lobster, and many others - has made a pledge to College Summit of $600,000 to strengthen our alumni engagement programs nationwide, and to support our peer leader program within partner schools in the National Capital Region (NCR) and in Southern California.

In more local news, The Ralph M. Parsons Foundation recently approved a grant of $50,000 to College Summit Southern California to support our comprehensive high-school-to-college transition program at partner schools in the Inglewood and Los Angeles Unified School Districts.
