Southern California Closes Another Successful Workshop Season After a fulfilling and productive summer, Southern California finishes our 2009 Workshop Season.

USCIt is with great privilege that College Summit Southern California announces the completion of our 2009 Workshop Season. With the help of 82 community volunteers serving as Writing Coaches and College Counselors, 240 Los Angeles students completed the College Summit workshop. Five workshops throughout the summer were held at the University of Redlands and the University of Southern California. During these four-day workshops, our students completed a college application form, learned about financial aid, compiled a list of recommended colleges for application, wrote a personal statement for college admissions, and explored what it means to be a leader. We are looking forward to working with our students this school year and celebrating many successes!

Thank you to our community volunteers, workshop staff, and our inspiring students for all of your hard work this summer!
