Data and Reporting for Management

Rising college enrollment rates say a lot about what schools are doing right for their kids. College Summit not only provides the tools to measure increasing college enrollment rates, but also provides the systems to track student progress toward this objective.

Management Tools Track Student Progress to College
College enrollment is the ultimate goal, but keeping kids on track is critical to achieving that objective. College Summit offers partners easy-to-use tracking tools so that teachers, counselors and school leaders can see how their students are progressing on the path to college.

i.    CSNav is the web-based component of our classroom curriculum and provides students with extensive college and career planning resources. Students use CSNav to complete self-assessments, identify career options, research colleges and financial aid, and even apply directly to hundreds of colleges.
ii.    Educators and administrators use CSNav to track real-time student progress on curriculum milestones, assign grades, and leave comments for students.
iii.    School leaders and College Summit staff meet regularly to review student progress, celebrate successes, and identify areas of student opportunity.

Taken together with an annual review of college enrollment, these tools give schools and districts the information they need to set goals, manage progress, identify areas of improvement and report on success.

College Enrollment Assessment

Each year, College Summit works with our partner schools to provide comprehensive analysis of our joint progress. This includes a review of college enrollment rates, college retention rates, and detailed information on which institutions the students are attending. College Summit works with the school to do an in-depth analysis and action plan based on the data. With this information and insight, school leaders can set the following year’s goals and strategies enabling constant, measurable improvement.
