College Summit Alumni,

During the past few months the National Alumni Team has been hard at work developing more ways to reach out to you. As a result, the alumni e-blast – an electronic publication – began going out last November and has gone out each month since. Each e-blast has a message from the National Alumni Team and lists College Summit updates as well as personal and professional opportunities for alumni. There is now a Resource Guide available online (and through an e-blast link this month) that contains information on various scholarships available to pay for your college education. If there is anything else you would like to see, please let us know.

In response to many of you who have been asking for details regarding summer workshop roles, now posted on the alumni website is a detailed job description and application process for both the newly reinstated Alumni Leader Coordinator role and Alumni Leader role. Each of you has something valuable to contribute to those around you. Whether it is at a College Summit workshop, on your college campus, or at the workplace, we encourage you to be the best leader that you can. Oftentimes this is best done by being a constant example to those around you. Ghandi said it best: ‘Be the change you want to see.’
