Volunteer Now

This summer College Summit will need over 700 Writing Coaches and hundreds of Alumni Leaders and College Counselors to support over 3,500 students at 70+ workshops... you too can be part of this movement to ensure that every student who can make it in college makes it to college.

From this page you can register with College Summit to create a volunteer profile, search for volunteer opportunities at summer workshops near you, and log in to your volunteer account once you have created it.

Create a volunteer account with College Summit or log into a previously created account. This is where you will be able to manage your volunteer requests and allow us to keep in contact with you about your volunteer status and the latest opportunities.
 
Note: Creating a profile does not require you to select a volunteer opportunity at this time. (However, please keep in mind that workshops are filled on a "first come - first serve" basis).

Search the schedule of workshops. For the first time this will allow you to see which workshops are closest to you and to sign up to show that you are interested in a particular workshop date and location.

The following workshops are in need of volunteer writing coaches. We strongly encourage you to review these locations when seaching for a place to volunteer this summer.

  • Amherst College - Massachusetts (takes place over July 4th)
  • Daemen College - New York
  • Southeast Missouri State University - Missouri **
  • University of South Carolina at Aiken - South Carolina
  • Glenville University - West Virginia
  • WVU Tech - West Virginia
