Thanks for your interest in becoming a College Summit Advocate! College Summit will not achieve its mission of increasing the college enrollment rate of American high schools without significant public policy change at the federal and state levels.
And, for that . . . we need YOU!
Over the years, College Summit has dedicated substantial resources to change public policy. From 2005 to 2008, College Summit worked to ensure the enactment of a law that - for the first time in American history - mandated the U.S. government measure college enrollment data by high school. The statute was authorized in Section H, Part 808 of the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008.
In 2008, College Summit published its first annual White Paper which described our vision for 21st-century Launch Pad high schools.
As we begin a new era of advocacy focused on a new federal administration, we will not be successful without you! We need you to join - and create - a movement that ensures our leaders invest in an America where every high school is aiming for grade 13. Please check back here for updates and a call to action. In the meantime, please visit College Summit’s Public Affairs webpage to become informed about our own advocacy.
We look forward to your participation and your leadership in our movement!
